PM’s lawyer quits Cadman bribe case

VANCOUVER -- Ottawa lawyer Richard Dearden withdrew yesterday from representing Prime Minister Stephen Harper in his $3.5-million defamation case against the Liberals for alleging that he knew of an alleged attempted bribe of the late Independent MP Chuck Cadman of Surrey. Dearden refused to say why.
