Local lawyer persuades Supreme Court to amend rules for foreign attorneys
HOUMA - After years spent fighting for a change in the state Supreme Court's rules, a local lawyer succeeded in persuading the court to allow foreign-born attorneys on temporary visas a shot at the state bar exam.
